I believe in creating intertextual images, sounds, and words, noting that nothing that I create is born in isolation; it is a fraction of that which has been stated before. I am interested in the culture that is awakened by and situated in the fissures that are created by society’s itinerant slumber. The idea of play keeps me creative. Lastly, I would like to make art that starts conversations, provokes questions, and tells stories that are universal in nature and unique under a microscope. |
